German Chocolate Pie

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 package German Chocolate

Melt in sauce pan over low heat; stir till blended. Remove from heat and gradually blend in 1 tall can Pet Milk.

Mix thoroughly:

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Beat in:

  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Gradually blend in chocolate mixture and pour into 9″ partially baked pie shell and then, sprinkle 1 1/2 cups coconut and 1/2 cup chopped nuts, mixed together over the top.

Bake at 350° about 50 – 55 minutes.

If it begins to get too brown before done, place foil over it and finish baking.
