Cherry Pie (2 Crust)

Mix in sauce pan:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • pinch salt

Add juice drained from cherries; let come to a boil.

Then add:

  • 1 can pie cherries, which juice was drained
  • red coloring
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • drop of almond extract
  • lump of butter

Pour into unbaked 8″ pie shell and then cover with top pastry; dot with butter and bake.
