Shrimp Almondine

Brown 1 cup blanched slivered almonds in 1/2 cup melted butter. Add 1 lb cooked shrimp and continue to brown.

Add:

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 Tbsp chopped parsley
  • toast points

Serve over buttered rice.

Good served with Cabbage Jello Salad, made by slivering cabbage, adding onion juice and congealing jello, along with pickles.
