2 lbs fresh shrimp, covered with salt and pepper. Cook slowly for 5 minutes for large shrimp and 3 minutes for medium shrimp.
In 3 Tbsp olive oil, saute 1/2 cup minced onion for 5 minutes.
- 1 cup catsup
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp chill sauce
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Simmer for 10 minutes. Place shrimp in a flat pan; cover with sauce. Place about 5″ from heat; broil about 7 minutes. Turn over once during broiling.
