Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

  • 1 lb ground beef, browned
  • 1 minced onion
  • 2 stalks celery chopped fine
  • 1 minced clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp parsley flakes
  • 1 can chopped mushrooms, 6 oz
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Bring all ingredients to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or longer, stirring frequently.

Serve over cooked and drained spaghetti. Sprinkle with grated cheese.

This sauce is better after it has set overnight, then heated and served over the cooked spaghetti.
