Skillet Meat Ball Meal

Combine:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs

Add:

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt or garlic salt
  • 3 Tbsp ground onion
  • 1 lb ground beef

Shape into balls. Coat with 1/4 cup flour. Fry in 2 Tbsp cooking fat.

In a bowl combine:

  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 can mushroom soup

Pour into skillet after pushing meat balls to side of skillet. Place 1 #2 can mixed vegetables in center. Add 1/2 tsp salt; cover skillet and simmer 10 – 15 minutes.
