Hawaiian Spareribs

Make sauce of:

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can pineapple tidbits and juice

Place 3 – 4 lbs ribs, cut in small pieces, in baking dish. Pour above sauce over meat, cover; bake 1 hour. Remove cover and continue cooking till ribs are tender and well browned, about 1 hour in moderate oven, 350°.
