Butter Baked Chicken ‘N Gravy

Heat oven at 425 degrees.

Dip 1 cut-up frying chicken (about 3 lbs) in 1/2 cup Pet milk.

Then roll in mixture of:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Melt 1/4 cup butter or oleo in 13 x 9″ pan in oven and put chicken into pan, skin side down. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.

Turn chicken over; around pieces, pour a mixture of:

  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 cup Pet milk
  • 1/4 cup water

Bake 30 minutes more or until drumstick is tender when pierced with fork. Remove chicken and stir gravy well.
