Mrs. Russell Adams
Cut up 3 fryers. Season with:
- Black Pepper
- Red Pepper
Fry the fryers UNfloured in a little grease in skillet. Drain meat & bone chickens. Put meat into skillet. Chicken meat, & deer or stew meat.
- 3 large chopped bell peppers
- 2 large chopped onions
- 2 “limbs” chopped Celery
- Garlic, optional
Saute till limp. Cover with water. Then Add:
- 1 can tomato sauce
- Fresh or canned Parsley
- 1 bunch chopped green onion tips
- 2 lbs rope sausage, cut in pieces
The longer it cooks, the better the flavor. Serve over cooked rice.
