Skillet Cobbler

Sift together:

  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 2 Tbsp baking powder
  • Pinch salt

Add 1 cup sugar. Then stir in 1 cup sweet milk, gradually.

In a large skillet, melt 1 stick oleo. Put FRUIT into oleo and pour flour and sugar mixture over the fruit.

Bake in moderate over 40 – 50 minutes.

FRUIT: Blackberries, peaches, cherries, etc.
