Mama’s Baked Custard

  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Beat well and add in:

  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Beat well and pour into baking dish or individual dishes and sprinkle with nutmeg on top Place in pan of water in slow oven, 300°; bake until knife inserted comes out clean, about 1 hour.
