Fruit Roll

Syrup:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 stick oleo or butter

Combine in oblong pan. Put in medium oven (350°) until oleo melts. Stir and set aside.

Pastry:

Make pastry for a 2 crust 10″ pie, dividing into two equal parts and roll each out into a round shape about the size of a pie crust. On half of each crust – use – peach slices, about 2 cups, fresh or frozen, or 1 lg. can of sliced peaches. Sprinkle with – SUGAR, fold each half over and pinch to seal.

Makes 2 rolls in pan.

Bake in 400° oven until browned, approx. 45 min. to 1 hr.

Serve warm with ice cream.

Can use any other fruit as strawberries, blackberries, cherries, etc.
