Orange Pecans

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup orange juice

Mix and boil to soft ball stage. Remove from fire and add:

  • 2 Tbsp orange rind
  • 1 pound pecans

Stir until syrup looks cloudy. Pour on heavy waxed paper as the mixture cools and then break apart. These keep well in tins.
