Melt 1/4 cup butter by setting bowl over hot water. Stir in:

  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk

Knead until smooth and well blended. If you wish to color it, divide and work in colors until it is uniform in color. Mold the Fondant around bottom and sides of Pecans or Cherries.

Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
