Lemon Butter Frosting

1/2 cup butter or oleo, creamed with 3/4 tsp grated lemon rind, till soft.  Alternately add 3 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar and dash of salt with:

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup milk

Beat well after each addition.
