Strawberry Jello Cake

  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 1 package strawberry jello
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup cooking oil
  • 1 cup drained strawberries

Combine all in mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Beat 2 minutes. Bake 24-30 minutes in three 8″ layers. Line pans with wax paper or grease and flour.

Strawberry Cream Frosting:

  • 1/2 cup butter or 1 stick oleo, softened and creamed
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup drained strawberries

****If you prefer Lemon Jello Cake, use the same ingredients as above except substitute 1 package lemon jello for the strawberry and the juice of 1 lemon for the cup of strawberries. In the Frosting again substitute the juice of 1 lemon for the strawberries.
