  • 2 sticks butter or oleo
  • 2 cups sugar, creamed
  • 6 eggs, add 1 at a time
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla or 1 Tbsp coconut favoring

Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake in slow oven, about 275° for about 1 1/2 hours.

May make a syrup and pour over hot cake:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice

Boil till thick and pour over cake.
