Stir-N-Roll Biscuits

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Sift together. Into a cup, pour:

  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2/3 cup milk

Do not stir. Add to dry ingredients and mix till stirs into a ball. Knead on wax paper 10 times. Pat and cut with unfloured cutter. Bake at 425°

Makes 10-12 biscuits.


Onion Biscuits are good with a supper of cold cuts and salad. Add 2 Tbsp minced onion to 2 Tbsp melted butter or margarine. Press a hollow in center of each biscuit and fill with butter mixture. Refrigerated biscuits may be used. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
