Baked Beans

  • 2 cans pork and beans
  • 1/2 pound hamburger meat, browned, drained
  • 1 small onion
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • Salt, pepper, garlic to taste
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp mustard

Cook bacon and drain the bacon. Place chopped onion and bell pepper in bacon drippings and cook until tender. Mix beans, browned hamburger meat, tomato sauce, onions, peppers, mustard, brown sugar and mustard. Top with bacon and bake at 300° for 1 hour.
