Plain Pound Cake

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup flour (plain)
  • 1 1/2 cup flour (self-rising)
  • 1 cup oil or oleo
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup sweet milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp butternut flavoring

Cream sugar, oil and eggs. Add flour to creamed mixture with milk and flavorings. Bake in long cake pan or Bundt pan at 350° for 1 hour. Start cake in cold oven.
