Pecan Icebox Cookies

Connie Bearden

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup oleo
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Mix in order given. Roll into long rolls and wrap in waxed paper. Place in refrigerator or freezer. When ready to bake, cut in 1/2 inch slices and bake at 350° for 7 to 10 minutes.
